Searching for a Doctorate in Business Administration?

I have finally found my niche in the corporate world, and I am priming myself for a managerial position within my company. It’s a small organization, probably about a dozen or so people, but I have been made Human Resources Manager.

While I’ve never held a position as an HR Manager, my Masters in Business Administration has certainly showed my employer that I am willing to take the initiative to improve myself and my job performance. While I enjoy my job and my company now, I know that they are looking to grow and expand their operations. When advancement opportunities come about, I want to make sure I’m ready to show them I am worth the investment. So, I’m considering earning a doctorate in business administration.

Doctorate in Business Administration

The doctorate in business administration (or DBA) program is exactly what I’m looking for. It will take me a few years to earn, since I’m planning on enrolling in online degree programs. That way, I won’t have to leave work early or adjust my work schedule to fit my education into my overall career goals. Online degree programs give me that sense of freedom I have desired in my education.

As a student of the doctorate in business administration degree program, I am going to be looking at particular specializations that may suit my career goals. I can focus on leadership, management, human resources, finance, accounting, economics, and more. The DBA program will give me more insight into what I will be doing as an executive or upper-level manager, and I can’t wait.
