Education PhD Programs
There are two types of education doctorate degrees available. You can earn a PhD in education, which is more of a research-based doctorate degree, examining the manner in which we educate others. Then there is an EdD degree, which is also a doctorate degree in education, but is geared towards practical application.
While both of these degrees can be used towards a career as a school administrator, the EdD may be the better option since it focuses on day-to-day operations within a school.
